Georgia
A fast-growing, bank-led economy on the Black Sea, and the western gateway for trade crossing the South Caucasus.

Georgia's economy grew 9.7% in 2024 and 7.5% in 2025, according to Geostat. Its financial system is dominated by two London-listed banks, Bank of Georgia (Lion Finance Group) and TBC, which together hold about three-quarters of the banking system's loans.
The country's ports at Poti and Batumi and its railway link the Caspian to the Black Sea, which places Georgia on the Middle Corridor between Central Asia and Europe. Its political relationship with the European Union has deteriorated since 2024, while sovereign credit metrics have improved.
