About Caucasus Investment Group
Caucasus Investment Group is an independent investment research platform focused on Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.

We analyse the companies, capital markets, transactions and structural economic trends shaping investment across the region, and we publish our sources alongside our conclusions.
Why the Caucasus
Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan sit between Europe, Russia, Türkiye, Iran and Central Asia. Their banks, listed companies, infrastructure, energy assets and trade routes matter to a growing number of international investors, lenders and companies.
The information needed to understand them exists, but it is scattered. It sits across central-bank releases, statistical offices, exchange filings, company reports, transaction announcements, the publications of international financial institutions and local-language press. Much of it is not in English, and little of it is connected.
CIG’s work is to find that information, check it, put it in context and explain what it means for investment.
What we publish
CIG Research examines a sector, market, company or theme in depth. CIG Insight looks closely at a single company, development or theme. CIG Brief explains a significant development concisely. CIG Deal Note analyses a transaction: its rationale, financing, valuation and what it signals about the market. CIG Data presents charts and datasets on regional trends, each with its sources.
How we work
Every significant figure we publish states its value, unit, currency, period and source. We separate what is reported from what we estimate and what we think. Our full approach is set out in Standards & Methodology.
Independence
CIG is independent research. We do not manage capital, act for clients or provide investment advice, and we do not publish buy, sell or hold recommendations or price targets. Where an author has a relationship with a company we write about, we say so in the publication. Our approach is set out under Disclosures.
